Honeymoon in Istanbul & Bodrum ( 7 nights / 8 days )

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul
You will be greeted at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul by your driver, then transferred to a luxury hotel located on the Bosphorus Strait where a welcome gift and bottle of champagne will be waiting. Later you will proceed to the hotel's spa for a special couples treatment in the traditional Turkish bath, which will be closed for your private use. After this truly relaxing experience, you have the rest of the day to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 2: Istanbul
After enjoying a relaxing morning you will meet your guide for a half-day private sightseeing tour. Your tour begins with a visit to the ancient Hippodrome, an area that was once the center of Byzantine civic life. You will continue to Sultan Ahmet Mosque, more familiarly known as the Blue Mosque because its interior gleams with a magnificent paneling of blue and white 17th century Iznik tiles. Next you will visit Hagia Sophia, often described as the greatest work of Byzantine architecture. You will finish the tour at the famous Grand Bazaar.

Here you will explore a labyrinth of streets and passages housing nearly 4,000 shops exhibiting a rich collection of precious handmade carpets, jewelry, leather, antiques, and souvenirs

Day 3: Istanbul
This morning you will be driven to the romantic seafront quarter of Bebek. Having one of the most beautiful coastlines of the Boshporus, enjoy an excellent view as you stroll along the Strait. Afterward you will sail along the Bosphorus Strait in a small fishing boat past ancient ruins, picturesque villages, wooden houses, and forested areas. You will disembark at the picturesque old city quarter of Ortakoy. After wandering the lively streets filled with historical buildings, craft sellers, and cafés, you may choose to enjoy lunch at one of the many seafront restaurants. After lunch you will continue to Dolmabahce Palace. This palace was built in the 19th century and is one of the most glamorous palaces in the world. Next you will be driven to Taksim Square. From here you will start a walking tour of Istiklal Street. This pedestrian street is the heart of Istanbul’s modern city center. You will walk through Istiklal to its other end, Tunel. Small side streets of this area are filled with bohemian pubs and cafés, where you will stop for a tea or coffee break before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: Istanbul
For an excursion that will forever remain in your mind, this morning you will depart by ferry for the Princes Islands. On the way to this archipelago that consists of nine islands in the Marmara Sea, you will enjoy the magnificent view of the Maiden's tower, the Asian side of Istanbul, the historical peninsula, and the view the Topkapi Palace complex by sea. Once you have reach Buyukada you will take a tour of the island’s many splendid villas, in well-kept gardens by a horse-drawn carriage before breaking for lunch at a seafront fish restaurant. After returning to the hotel in the late afternoon, you will depart by a luxury vehicle for a romantic dinner at an upscale restaurant overlooking the Bosphorus Strait.

Day 5: Istanbul / Bodrum
After departing from Istanbul in the morning, you will arrive in Bodrum and transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail before proceeding to the hotel's spa for a little relaxation and rejuvenation. After a treatment that will surely exceed your expectations, you have the rest of the day to enjoy at your leisure. Bodrum has gained the reputation as the center of the Turkish art community with its lively, friendly, Bohemian atmosphere, and many small galleries. You may choose to experience the town’s charm with a stroll along its long palm-lined waterfront, with elegant yachts that crowd the marina.

Day 6: Bodrum
You will meet your guide this afternoon for a half-day tour of beautiful Bodrum. You will begin at the Bodrum castle. Built by the Knights of St. John, the Crusader Castle of St. Peter dominates the town as a major survivor of its past. Inside the castle we also visit the Underwater Archeology Museum which is recognized as one of the finest of its kind in the world. Next you will visit the remains of Mausoleum. Constructed to honor the memory of the ambitious king who ruled Halicarnassus, King Mausolous Tomb was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Day 7: Bodrum
You may choose to spend this day at leisure for exploring Bodrum on your own. In the evening you will be transferred to an upscale restaurant in the city center for dinner.

Day 8: Bodrum
After breakfast we transfer to the Bodrum airport for the return flight to Istanbul.
