Our tour begins at Dolmabahce Palace. Residence of the last six Ottoman Sultans, this palace was built in the
19th century and is one of the most glamorous palaces in the world. Next we take a short drive to the
picturesque seafront quarter of Ortakoy.

This charming old city quarter is filled with historical buildings,
craft sellers, restaurants, and cafés. After wandering the lively streets of Ortakoy we embark on a public
boat and start our cruise of the Bosporus Strait. The Bosphorus is a narrow, navigable strait between Europe
and Asia connecting the Black Sea to the Marmara Sea. This boat ride takes us past the late Ottoman palaces,
Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi, as well as beautiful wooden mansions and modern villas of the 19th and 20th centuries
which form this elegant section of the city.
* To make the price of the tour more reasonable, we use a taxi
for transportation when there are two persons participating.

Note: The Bosphorus cruise of this tour starts from Ortakoy in June,
July, and August. Boat may start near Dolmabahce Palace or Spice Market. Dolmabahce Palace is closed on
Monday and Thursday.
